Another thing we made while up at my parents house was a festive Halloween version of the oh so famous Fauxstess Cupcakes from Vegan With a Vengeance. These cupcakes are a ton of work but they are definitely worth it, although they were a bit off this last time because of the soymilk powder I used – I tried a new brand and it’s kind of icky. They were still super yummy but not as amazing as they could be.
The original plan was to make the inside filling orange as well but I had most of them filled before I realized that I’d forgotten to dye the stuff.
