Kala and I gave each other a challenge to produce 10 recipes over the month of September. Today’s contribution was cinnamon-raisin couscous for breakfast. It was a combo of wholegrain couscous, maple syrup, cinnamon, brown sugar, and well raisins of course.
It was good but not great, the challenge is controlling the sweetness and the need for a few more flavors and textures. Kala suggested some gooey cooked apples on top, I think that would be a good addition as well.

find a complimentary nut. or crunchy apples
Sounds like a great idea, especially since I’m such a big fan of couscous. Can’t wait to see how it turns out!
